The AWS® Welding and Welder Software Online Demo

WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS)
PROCEDURE QUALIFICATION TEST RECORDS (PQR)
WELDING PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORD (WPQR)

For your structural steel applications, for any of the structural welding codes (AWS D1 Codes for steels, aluminum or stainless steels), as well as AWS B2.1 code, create welding procedure and welder performance qualification, by using industry standard AWS Forms (WPS, PQR, WPQR).

Online demo for AWS welding software (WPS, PQR) and welder software (WPQR):

OR

Features on the AWS Forms (WPS, PQR, WPQR):

•  Your company name and address will be added to all document, automatically
•  Option to transfer data from WPS to PQR or vice versa, automatically
•  Option to save your weld document online (WPS, PQR, WPQ, WPQR and Welders Management Report), plus you can always save it on your computer
•  Above features help you to manage your document faster, without entering the same data again!
•  You can choose from pre-drawn joint sketches library or upload your drawing
•  Over 500 welding joints, with code-referenced details of joint design used
•  Plus Non code-referenced welding joints, sketches without details, that help you avoid drawing on your own!

Drop-down features that help reduce your typing for the following variables:

•  Weld types, joint types, welding position, backing options and backing types
•  Shielding gases for gas process (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW,...) or flux (SAW) process
•  Welding process (es) as well as welding process type (s):
•  SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, SAW, PAW, GTAW, ESW, EGW welding process
•  Mode of metal transfers, current & polarity, tungsten type for TIG, etc.

AWS Base Metal database is sorted based on the Tables for each code:

•  AWS D1.1-Table 3.1 and Table 4.9, AWS D1.2-Table 3.2, AWS D1.3-Table 1.2, AWS D1.5 (AASHTO/AWS), and AWS D1.6-Table 3.2 references, as well as ASM Metals Handbook, and ASTM Standards, and AWS D17.1-Table 5.2, and AWS B2.1 Annex D.
•  Each material includes: Reference to code's table, code's metal group number, material grade, specification or alloy designation, minimum specified tensile strength and yield strength, plus information like prequalified material, etc.
•  Color links for each metal categories (Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and more) for quick search and addition of data to your Form

AWS Filler Metal database is sorted based on both material and process:

•  Welding process (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, SAW, PAW, GTAW)
•  AWS Specification number, AWS Classification, and helpful information
•  Color links for each filler metal groups (welding electrodes, welding rods, welding wires), as follow:

Carbon Steel

Low Alloy Steel

Stainless Steel

Aluminum and Aluminum-Base Alloys

Copper and Copper-Base Alloys

Nickel and Nickel-Base Alloys

Titanium and Titanium Alloys

Zirconium and Zirconium Alloys

Hard-Facing Weld Metal Overlay

Brazing

Preheat/Interpass temperatures, Postweld Heat Treatment (PWHT):

•  Built-in Tables provided for the following AWS D1 Series as well as AWS B2.1

* AWS D1 Series:

AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code-Steel
AWS D1.2 Structural Welding Code-Aluminum
AWS D1.3 Structural Welding Code-Sheet Steel
AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code
AWS D1.6 Structural Welding Code-Stainless Steel
AWS D9.1 Sheet Metal Welding Code
AWS D17.1 Specification for Fusion Welding for Aerospace Applications

AWS B2.1 Specification for Welding Procedure and Performance Qualification
